Sofa Bed, Joe's Crab Shack and Poop

We bought Jake a sofa that folds out into a bed. He seems to like the bed option better.

We went out to eat at Joe's Crab Shack last night. I'm always a little bit nervous about going to new restaurants with Jake. He gets bored quickly, wants out of the highchair and then precedes to run around the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with his behavior at Joe's. If you've never been there, the restaurant is very loud, busy and entertaining. The waitstaff sing and dance about every 15 minutes to songs like YMCA, Carwash, Stayin' Alive, etc. Jake loved the atmosphere! He danced in his highchair and clapped. I think he had a smile on his face the whole time. Several people came up to us and commented on how cute he is and how much fun he seemed to have.

One more thing... We were playing downstairs today and Jake started to say, "Poopy, poopy." I just thought it was a random word that he sometimes gets stuck on like, "cookie", "Pop Pop", "Daddy", etc. When he came over to me, I realized that he DID poop. It seems like something new and amazing happens every day with Jake. I wish we lived closer to family to share all of these awesome milestones.
