Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to Work I Go

I went back to work part-time this week. I've never been so excited about working! It's nice getting out of the house, even for just a few hours per week.

Baby and Daddy are now spending regular quality time together. Daddy is getting a good taste of what it's like to be completely responsible for baby!

I'm a Big Boy Now!

Despite all of my anxieties, we started baby on solid foods. But, I'd hardly consider the little bit of rice cereal mixed with breast milk, solid ! He seems to enjoy it, but gets easily frustrated with the slowness. My man wants to eat!

Some other big news - baby has slept by himself for the past 4 nights. This is tremendous progress, considering that he would only sleep with mommy and/or daddy during our travels in VA and PA. Let's knock on wood!

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggedy Jig

Well, after 3 weeks of travel to Virginia and Pennsylvania, we are finally home. It was so nice seeing friends and family, but it does feel good to be back in our own home. We really wish we lived closer. The trip from PA to OH started out well, but turned sour when baby decided to scream for about an hour. He eventually cried himself to sleep.

By the time we arrived at home, the van was covered in fur and smelled like a wet dog! What would we do without a mini-van?

I guess I'm not the best blogger in the world, because I'm falling behind in posts. Ollie turned 6 yrs. on December 24th. He didn't have a party like Leeza, but did eat some special treats. Happy Birthday Baba!
